Formula item enhancements
- The functionality of the formula item has been expanded in app version 5.41.4 to support:
  • Allow
    Date
    and
    Date/Time
    items to be used in formulas.
  • Control the output format of the formula result.
  • Support for text formula results.
You can select a
Date
or
Date/Time
item type as a variable in a formula. When you do this, make sure the output format is set to Date.

5.41.4
is available to all devices, the option will go into beta and then be generally available about 2 weeks later.

When you are adding time to a date, use unix time to perform the calculation.

You can also include text results as part of your formula. For example, the formula [= A + B > 10, “YES”, “NO”] would show YES on the app if the formula result is greater than 10 and NO if the formula results was less than 10.
Reports
New calculation option for Probe report
- A setting has been added to the
Probe Report
to include
measurement
items where the probe is not required. Previously, the probe percentage on the report was computed as follows:

Measurement
items where probe is not required (other input methods are allowed) were excluded from the percentage. That calculation is still the default calculation so nothing changes for existing users.
The new calculation takes effect after you save the report and change the setting to include items where probe is not required.

To change the setting on the probe report, take the following steps:
  1. On the
    Jolt Web Portal
    , navigate to
    Reporting | Probe Report
  2. Set your filters as desire and
    Save As New Report
    .
  3. Click the
    More Options
    button and select
    Settings
    .
  4. Turn on the setting as shown:

  1. Save
    the report.
This probe report option is in beta and is scheduled to be generally available on 10/24/24.
Saved Reports recipient list
- You can now get an overview of all the schedule reports and their recipients to help ensure the right reports are going to the right people. The
Recipients Report
shows report name, owner, type, recipients, roles, and the delivery schedule for all you saved reports.
To see the
Recipients Report
, take the following steps:
  1. Log into the
    Jolt Web Portal
    and navigate to
    Reporting | All Reports.
  2. In the top, left of the page, click the
    Report Recipients
    button.

If a user is missing an email address or a role was deleted but not removed from the report, that information will display in red on the report.
You can click on any of the rows to be taken straight into the saved report to make changes or fix recipient information.
Sensors
Sensors Custom Floor Plan Sensor Map (Beta)
  • Allows users to upload floor plans and virtually place sensors and gateways to create a map
  • Multiple Floors supported. The layout of floors is customizable
  • SVG is the recommended file type to avoid resolution issues
  • Only location mode is supported for now. Content Group Mode is not yet available.
  • For both the floorplan AND the map, you can toggle between Connectivity % and Signal Strength. The default view is the Connectivity view.
  • Released to Beta. Requires the SENSORS_FLOOR_PLAN feature flag
Settings
Subscription type visible
- A column for subscription type (Order/Amendment) was added to the
Product Subscriptions
page that is accessible from the
Company Settings
page. This column will show whether the subscription was added or removed from the account. Expired subscriptions are not removed.
