.CSV file download

I used to be able to download a .csv file for a list we created and it would let me sort that .csv file by columns and not rows. Now I have to copy the file and paste it into another tab in excel to be able to have it in rows. It is only sorted by first name and no longer by last name due to the fields changed as "names" instead of "first", "last".

Our company would also really like to see this in the reporting as well, the CSV file has to be reformatted to visualize it in Power BI.

They latest product enhancement eliminated this ability. I used it all the time and would like it back!
