Have sensor temperatures auto populate into our temperature log.

Right now when we take our temperatures in our restaurants, we have to click on sensor, see the temperature of the cooler, and then manually type in the temperature. It would be nice if that temperature would automatically populate into the spot, and then let us know if it is out of our set range.

Is there anyone who wants to test that hasn't been able to yet?
Also, Checking in on those who are testing this feature. How is it going? any feedback?

RAVI: I just turned it on for you so that should be available now! Here's the support article with instructions on how to setup your lists to pull in the temperatures from the sensors

Michael: I see this was awhile ago but wondering if I could get in on the testing as this is something I was looking for as well.
Michael
Nick: This is actually now done with beta testing and it is live for everyone to use. We are planning changes to allow this to be setup from the mobile device but currently you'll need to set it up from the web. Here is the information.

It could be an option like the current "probe" from the temp list we uses. example: click the item you want to temp and it would bring up the number pad with clear/ delete/ record/ next/ use probe but also would have "use sensor".

Hi Mallory,
Thank you for submitting that feedback! Currently, we do not have a way for the sensors for your cooler to automatically populate into a list, but I think that is a great idea! We do have what are called scenarios, which are alerts that you can create to warn you by text or email if a sensor is reading a temperature out of range for a given timeframe. Do you know if your account has scenarios set up yet?

Tyler: we dont need it to auto populate necessarily. see my comment above and see if that is possible. I feel it would be an easy add?

Maria : Okay. That does make sense. In that way, you could get sensor temperatures on list results instead of just getting a notification about it.
I am not sure how easy it would be since we may not have the sensors and list features integrated to that level. If our development team does start working on this, though, then they will put a new status on this thread, and you will get an email about it. Hopefully they give it some consideration.
Thanks again for your feedback!
