The Jolt Communication Manager is now live!
Announcements can now be viewed either when an employee clocks in OR when they log in to the app. Now everyone can take advantage of this powerful communication tool which allows you to publish announcements, create quizzes to ensure understanding, and see reports on who has completed the announcements.
Use cases include:
- Product Recalls
- Policy Updates or Operational Changes (EG. Covid-19 Policy Updates)
- LTO’s
- Training
- Employee Recognition
- Newsletters
Announcements have been combined with our message blast feature to create the Jolt Communication Manager module to streamline communication across your business.

Jennifer was really excited about the ability to communicate to her staff. She has over 100 employees and is very event-driven. They have an ever-changing menu which she needs to quiz and verify her staff's product knowledge on. She was VERY disappointed she had to use timeclock to use announcements. Made her consider other options

For those testing, how is it going? Any feedback?
Also is there anybody who wishes to be part of the beta test but has not been given access yet?

Im interested.
Michael
Marie: Hi Marie. Do you know the name of your account in Jolt? I tried looking it up based on your email but couldn't find it. Or do you know the name of the Customer Success Manager assigned to your account?
Michael
This is now in beta! You can create announcements without needing the time clock. Announcements will display when employees login.
If you are interested in testing please let us know so we can activate it for you.

Just when they log in for the day.

Thank you everyone for your feedback! I don't have any updates as to when this would go to development. But I do have a few questions I would like to work out in the meantime.
When would you want the message to display?
The first time they login for the day, only during specific times of the day? If it was during your rush time, would that cause issues for the staff needing to get access to the app right away?
Thank you!
M
Michael
Sarah: First time they login daily works for me!

Sarah: I was trying to use this feature as a message board (Notification) when they log in that day or the first time they log in. It could continue to bypass the notification just like a phone. It can clear when they want it cleared or just exit out of it. We could have a report of who saw it or opened it etc.. we can goo much further with this but it just the start. It would be a great communication tool for TM who log in

Sarah: First time they log in for the day - and if they don't have time to review it, it should display the next time they log in

Agreed! Announcements seem like a great feature but my company (nearly 2000 locations, many of which use jolt), has its own system for time punch/payroll. Seems like an easy fix to allow for announcements based on login in addition to clock in.

Looking for this as well. Any updates?
