Reporting for open and closed work orders.
What is it?
A report on open and closed work orders that lets you filter and group your work order data to assist in managing work orders.
Why does it matter?
This report is designed to help maintenance managers get a handle on how long open work orders are in progress and how long it takes to close work orders by work order type.
How does it work?
To see the report, log onto the
Web Portal
and navigate to Reporting | Work Order Report
.
1. Filters
- Use the filters at the top to select a date range, work order type, status (open/closed), and locations.2. Legend
- The number and percentage of selected work orders appears in the legend. The legend is scrollable if there are more than 4 work order types. 3. Data table
- Use the dropdown to select one of 4 different types of groupings. - Type- Work order type
- Location- The location the work order was created in
- Reporter- The user who created the work order
- Closer- The user who closed the work order. Note that when you group by closer, information about open work orders does not display.
The columns on the data table are defined as follows:
# Created
- A count of all of the work orders created in the selected filters. # Open
- Of the work orders that were created in the selected filters, how many are still open. Average age
- The average age of the open work ordersClosed
- Of the work orders created in the selected filters, how many are now closed.Days to Close
- The average amount of time it took to close the work orders that are closed.
