The Zebra TC52X scanner allows you to quickly complete QR code and barcode items in Jolt Lists.
What is it?
The Jolt app runs on the Zebra TC52X, an Android-based device. This integration lets you use the built-in scanner to complete QR code and barcode items instead of relying on the camera.
Why does it matter?
Using the Zebra TC52X device makes scanning QR codes and bar codes faster and easier.
How does it work?
This integration is available as of the 6.10.12 app version.
The Jolt app can detect when it is running on a Zebra TC52X device. When you tap the Scan button on a QR code item or a bar code item, the app activates the scanner and waits for a scan. Press the scan button on the device. The app checks the scanned code against the item value and automatically completes the item if they match.
If you don’t want to use the scanner, you can tap the camera icon in the scanner modal to complete the item using the camera.
