With the new Multiple Choice item options set feature, you can create custom options sets so that employees can select the appropriate label when they print. Does this resolve the issue or is there still something missing?

Sarah Does the work around that Jed share work for your needs?

Our current work-around is to have multiple Label Templates. This template auto-generates the date and time at which the label is printed and we added the "Made on" text. This label doesn't have any expiration information, but another Label Template of the same item could.
