Labels

The ability to recall the last label printed would be really helpful, especially when creating customized labels, for time where you forget to change the quantity.

Currently labels can only be added to lists individually. As new product labels are added this creates an additional action for operators who use labels imbedded in lists. I'd like to be able to add an entire category instead of needing to select individual labels for use in lists.

Currently, the Label Preview gets highlighted when I put cursor over the corresponding section in the Label Builder. This is great! I want it to do the opposite too. If I put my cursor over the Label Preview ("Label Name" for example) it should also highlight that exact section ("Label Name") in the builder itself. It would be great if this highlighting went both ways.

I created labels that contain the prep and expiration dates for my food items. The labels' duration field is set for the number of days before the product expires. All is well if I print the labels and prep the food on the same day; however, I sometimes have a need to print labels days in advance of actually preparing some of the food items. I created another template that prompts for the future prep date at the time the label is printed which works well. However, the expiration date defaults to the date the label is printed and not the future prep date. It would be very helpful if an option existed to peg the expiration date to the prep date entered at the time of printing rather than having it default to the actual print date. While there are workarounds, they create opportunities for human error by my employees. Having this automatic feature would simplify the proces and make it foolproof.

If you use the search function in Labels right now, it will bring up all labels in your location available and separate them by Category. While this works well in some circumstances, for customers with a large amount of labels we often would like to limit the Search function to just the Category I have already selected. The scrolling up and down, even though helpful to have separated by Category, because the customers use the search function a hundred or more times a day, and there are many different categories, it still causes a lot of wasted time. So the idea is to get the functionality to select a category, then just search within the category to help

Sometimes we need multiple stickers with the same Use By dates, but we may need them at different times. For example, we open a jar of Green olives and it lasts for 60 days as long they remain in their juice. But we don't pull directly from that jar, and we fill up another container that we use to prepare food. When that container gets about half empty, we refill it. Say it takes 5 days to use half the container, and we want to reprint a new ticket for a new and clean pan. If we print a new ticket that day, the date is actually off by 5 days. And every time we refill it, we are making new stickers. We would like to have a manual entry template, or a way to reprint from the history of a certain item.

I wanted to bring up an issue we’re experiencing with the app when multiple printers are connected. Currently, the app automatically defaults to the printer that was installed first, and there’s no way to select a different printer. Would it be possible for your development team to add the ability to either: Set a default printer when multiple printers are installed, or Prompt the user to choose which printer to print to each time. This functionality would greatly improve workflow efficiency for locations with more than one printer. I’m happy to provide details about our setup or testing if that would help. Thanks for considering this request, and I look forward to your feedback.

Julia is bulk-importing her labels, but she's getting a warning that her labels are missing fields from their templates. We determined it's the price field that's not showing up and now she's disappointed that she can't bulk edit to add that information to her labels. This is very frustrating because she has to go back into each of her products individually to enter the pricing information rather than entering the information in bulk. Is there a way to be able to enter the price from the bulk import/bulk edit pages?

GS1-128 barcodes are a type of barcode that used by most businesses, they are barcodes that are 48 characters long that include specific identifiers that give the system scanning it information from the label, like net weight, production date, best byt date, batch/lot numbers, serial numbers, GTIN numbers.

Would like to be able to print labels from a desktop computer.
