Unique barcodes within option sets
Michael
Hi Pat,
Thanks for the feedback. I'd like to clarify my understanding here. Instead of having separate labels for $2 and $1 mugs, you want a single label where employees can select if it is $1 or $2 and then have the barcode update accordingly. I'm assuming it's a price embedded barcode, is that correct?
Is the motivation behind making this a single label with option sets instead of multiple labels because you have many products with different price points like this, so it would create an overwhelming number of labels? Any details you can share there would be helpful
Do you also list the price somewhere on the label so would you want that price to update as well?

Michael Yes that's correct. I run a thrift store and we are using labels to help speed up our checkout process. I would like each thing we sell to have its own barcode at every price point we might sell it at. But if I were to create a label for each price an item might be, I would have 1,000s of labels and not enough space on my tablet screen.
Currently our labels have the item name, price, and a barcode. I would like to have the price and barcode adjust for each item with a specific barcode unique to that price and item.
