When a schedule is published with unassigned shifts, I would like to have a feature where the unassigned shift are automatic available in JoltLite for the team to pick up and they received a notification that shifts are available.

We are getting close to releasing the new scheduling experience in the main Jolt App which will replace Jolt Lite.
This feature will be available once that new experience is released.
If anyone is interested in beta testing the new experience, please comment here and let me know.

Open Shifts

I would love an 'Open Shift' feature. Somewhere I can post shifts for employees to pick up at their leisure. Since nothing like this exists, I had to create an Open Shift employee, then after I post the schedule, I have to log in like I'm Open Shift and drop ALL of these shifts individually, which seriously takes a long time! If there's no way to create an Open Shift feature, I would settle for a button that allows you to select all of your shifts and 'Release All Shifts'. This would at least save me from having to go in and individually release like 50+ shifts a week.

I would love if staff would be notified of an "unassigned shift" that's available when the schedule is published.

We do the same thing that Sean wrote. We assign the shifts to a dummy account, which we call "VACANT SHIFT" and the go into this profile to release the shifts. I wish we didn't have to do these extra steps.
